Watch Washington Redskins NFL 2008 Season in Review
Quarterback Jason Campbell started beautifully and Washington Redskins got one kick start in 2008 season. They were spectacular in the beginning and people really thought them as one of the playoffs teams. Unfortunately, they slowed down in the middle of the tournament. In the end of the league they ranked 28th in scoring. They ranked 29th in yardage and this year they have promised to come back with a lot of surprises to make their position strong in the league. Chris Cooley, Antwaan Randle El and Santana Moss became quite a deadly trio and played fantastic in many of the opportunities. With them Clinton Portis had done full justice to his talent and played really well through out the league. The defense was really strong and hardly allowed any yards or points. But at the same time it fails to produce turnovers too.
2009 Washington Redskins NFL Season Preview
Albert Haynesworth has signed for the next season and the amount has made many players frown. Albert Haynesworth signed for $100 for this season. The supporters want him to play at his best otherwise the whole amount will be wasted on him. Hopefully he will boost the defense to give dynamic performance this year and to produce a lot of turnovers in favor of their club. Jay Cutler did not signed with Redskins for the next season. Jason Campbell will remain their as quarterback. But this is a big question to all, whether these big names will be able to change the performance graph of Redskins this year, or 2009 will be another disappointing year for them. The defense was always a strong point for Redskins but their offense need to increase speed and accuracy in the next season. Otherwise, it will become tough for them to make their presence felt.

Washington Redskins 2009 NFL Offense
Clinton Portis and Jason Campbell needs to stay fit for the whole season to secured a better position in the league table. Not only that, they need to run and protecting the ball both so that they can turn the games to t heir favor. Lat year, play making ability was not there and that is why Redskins failed to win in many matches. This year they must increase play making ability to shine through out the league and make a stronger position. That will help them to reach the play offs in 2009 season.
Washington Redskins 2009 NFL Defense
Brian Orakpo and Albert Haynesworth are the biggest names that redskins have bought in this off season. Carls Rogers, DeAngelo Hall, LaRon Landry and Fred Smoot will be there to provide the support. Together this is a fantastic combination and opponent quarterbacks will definitely feel scared of this. They must work together and coordinate properly to make and win the games.
