All of them were injured and the team was in big trouble for that. The rest of the team was direction on the field and tried a lot to so that no one misses the wide receivers but failed to do so. The Seattle Seahawks failed to get them fit for the whole year and this year they are looking for some fit, healthy and skilful player in the squad. The defense was better than offense and ranked 25th in the league last year. It also ranked 25th in yards allowed and this year they are hopeful to perform much better than previous year with many changes in the team.

Seattle Seahawks has no option left but to perform well this season. They are in a position from where the bottom is nearer than the top and that is why everyone in the team is now willing to work hard to achieve a better position in the league table. Hassleback needs to perform well as the supporters have lots of hope on him. Otherwise, the club needs to find a replacement of him as he was down even last year. The club needs to win for that they had made some changes in the defensive line and signed some new players. Mike Holmgren has resigned from coaching and Jim Mora has taken the responsibility of Seattle Seahawks this year. T.J. Houshmandzadeh has also joined the squad and we will have to see how he performs this year with Seattle Seahawks.

Lofa Tatupu, Julian Peterson, Cory Redding and and Rocky Bernard are going to join Seattle Seahawks for 2009 season. They need to form a coordinated defense to create pressure on opponent quarterback and turn the game to their side. Defense should have some depth and power to make the game in a better way. if Colin Cole can stay fit for the whole year then there is huge chances for Seattle Seahawks to do much better in 2009 season.
