That lineup with 1B Mark Teixeira, 3B Alex Rodriguez and SS Derek Jeter has been relentless all season. I almost feel sorry for Minnesota. Almost.
Now the Minnesota Twins had a hell of a final 2 weeks. They trailed those stumbling Detroit Tigers by 7 games not too long ago. But when you go 17-4 while the team you are chasing pulls one of the great choke jobs of the century … you gotta feel you can damn near beat anybody.
