2009 Altlanta Hawks NBA Season Preview
Atlanta Hawks is surely one of those teams which are performing well consistently. The run started five years ago. Atlanta hawks started rebuilding their team all over. But no body was actually sure about the outcome. They thought it was just another routine thing that Atlanta Hawks was doing. But the perception changed. Atlanta Hawks has reached the play off’s in last few years consistently. They are also performing pretty well and the supporters have a lot of hope from them in this season too.
This year the Atlanta Hawks team is confident to perform well again. They do not want their success to go and that is why they want to even perform better this year. They know people have a lot of expectations from they and they must not let them down. Atlanta Hawks do not want to change their team because of the chemistry in between the players. They think that if they take a lot of fresh players then that can affect the coordination. Just some small changes took place in the team but other than that it was nearly same. Right now they all are focusing on winning the championship. That is why they are not willing to change their team.
In last five years the growth we can see in Atlanta Hawks is simple commendable. First season they won 13 matches. Then they won 26, 30, 37 matches respectively. Last year they won 47 matches and the show was surely spectacular. And this year they are seeing the victory only and they are determined to win the championship.
Centre Zaza Pachulia has re-signed with Atlanta Hawks this year and he is hoping to make constant improvement in the performance too. This is his fifth year with the Hawks and he is sure to continue the good run this season. He said that the club is improving every year and that surely shows how things are going for them.
They are bringing back most of their top scorers in the squad again. There are 7 known faces that will play for them again this year and this is fantastic news for the supporters who are eagerly waiting to see them perform.
Mike Bibby too signed with Atlanta Hawks again for the next five years. He said that they want to perform as a team and success tastes better when everyone perform together. He also said that they want to play well consistently.
This year Jamal Crawford has replaced Acie Law. Law performed miserably in the previous season. That is why Jamal has replaced him and hopefully he can contribute well in the team’s performance. Crawford is a well known and skilled player and he will surely be able to perform well with Atlanta Hawks.
Johnson will continue playing in the team for the fourth consecutive season with Atlanta Hawks. With almost the same squad they are expecting to perform even better this year. Though, the team is expecting little more consistency from Smith. And if things go well they can surely reach their target to win the championship.
