2009 Boston Celtics NBA Season Preview
Boston Celtics performed well in their last season. They never try to over do anything but they always try to maintain a balance between their offensive and defensive squad. During the off season the Bolton Celtics did not do anything extra. They tried to stick to their simple plans and simple strategies so that they can maintain a good position in the upcoming championship.
Coach Doc Rivers and basketball operations Danny Ainge spent a lot of time to so that they can recruit some of the better player this time. They want balance, speed and depth in their team. They know that winning is the only option they have and that is why they want to make it very sure that they got the best of the team.
The Celtics wants to stay in the elite class where they belong. And they are trying everything so that they can stay there even this season. The off season says many things about any team. This off season too said a lot of things about the Bolton Celtics.
Cleveland and Orlando are two teams who took a couple of good players in their team. Boston Celtics took their own time to decide how they want to build their team this year. Finally they opted for Wallace. They know how strong Wallace is and the Bolton Celtics needs to have a great defense. Wallace can surely make the defense strong so that opponent find it tough to reach there.
Coach River said that they do not want to jump for each and everyone. They know winning matters a lot and that is why they will take the best suited players for every position. They are ready to work hard and the players too need to be responsible enough to understand the team game.
Wallace is surely a star player and his previous records are too good. River is pretty happy to take him in the team squad. He expressed his full confidence on Wallace. He said he knows the importance of a good defender and a good player and he is sure that Wallace can carry off that responsibility well.
Marquis Daniels was another addition in the Boston Celtics squad. This was surely a great deal. Coach river is expecting him to perform well in the matches and help the team to reach the play off’s. He has a lot of potential now he just needs to use them properly at the right place.
Garnett could not play all the matches last year because of his knee injury. This year he is absolutely fit and hoping to perform well in the matches. The team has a good roster now so that players can stay happy and play well.
Kendrick Perkins and Rondo will be there to add a touch of speed and power in the squad. Any team needs the depth to reach the play off and win the championship. The Boston Celtic has chosen everyone properly and they are hoping to give some eye catching performances in the coming season for sure.
