2009 Miami Heat NBA Season Preview

Miami heat has a mediocre season last time. But this off season went really well for them. Their coach came back and it was good news for all of them. Eric Spoelstra himself is pretty to make this come back as this is his mother’s native. He is sure to bring back the team to its winning flow. He is confident and the supporters too are trying to become happy. But they still have fear as the last few years were not at all well for the team.

Spoelstra wants to make a young team and he is keen to do that. he thinks the team needs some young and energetic players. Young players have energy, enthusiasm and speed. They can learn and it is easy to manage the young players. He says he wants to make the team for future so that the wining does not look like fluke. For that the team needs young players.

He is also working on the roster. He wants to give every player a chance to show their talents and skills. That is why a useful roster is very important. Last season the club won only 28 matches and this time with Spoelstra they are hoping to win many more and also they are hopeful about reaching the play off’s this year.

Dwyane Wade has signed with the club. Every one is expecting a lot from him and the supporters have already made him the star of this season. Now it is up to Wade to perform and fulfill everyone’s dream. Pat Riley is the Heat president. In an interview he said that the club loves Wade and they all want him to perform and make everyone happy. Now, only time can tell whether wade can take all these responsibilities on his shoulder or fails to do so.

The club spent a lot of time on their young players in this off season. They arranged the roster in quite a same way like the previous one and gave the older players the responsibility to lead the younger players. They think that the younger players will be able to learn a lot of things from the senior and veteran players.

Michael Beasley will continue playing in the forward. And he is known for his skills and youthfulness. Though he suffered from a lot of things in last few months but the club and coach still have full faith on him. He also promised to make a good comeback this year so that the supporters can again cheer for him this season.

Mario Chalmers, Udonis Haslem and Jermaine O’Neal will also play for the club this season. They do not want a repeat show of last season’s 28 win. They are looking for a better season and that is why they are working hard to achieve that. Hopefully the players will improve a lot this year and can bring back the winning habit to the team. Everyone is eagerly waiting for them to perform.
