2009 New Jersey Nets NBA Season Preview
Last were things happened suddenly and the result was something that nobody really expected. There were some false facts too about their last season. It said that new Jersey Net was the third placed team of last season which is not true. They could not perform at per and their supporters are expecting a much better performance from them this season.
After last years performance no one is actually thinking many good things about New Jersey Nets team. In fact, most of the supporters are quite sure that New Jersey Nets won’t be able to make it to the play off even this year. Only time can tell what surprises the New Jersey nets team has in its store but no one is expecting something great from them till now.
In this off season New Jersey nets team was trying to rebuild their squad so that they can attract new agents. But if they continue performing this way the free agents too will not take interest in their team at all.
New Jersey Nets coach Lawrence Frank is hoping that there team will still be able to play with full enthusiasm and also they will come up with a good performance this year. For that, the players need to give their full energy and the team must come first before the individual achievements.
In recent interviews Lawrence is stressing on the veterans and experienced players in his team. He wants them to play for their team and give their 100 percent effort so that their fight can get the recognition from all.
Vince carter who has joined Orlando, the situation does not seem pretty right for the New Jersey Nets right now. May be they can come up with some surprises later.
Devin Harris is the new face of New Jersey Nets franchisee this year. He is bringing some crucial credentials so that the audience can get attracted to this teams match. He arranged star performances last year and people are hoping him to do something against this year.
Carter is not in the team this season and the team has no options but to play well and improve their performance this year.
New Jersey nets need to make their defense stronger and make their plans accordingly. If they can improve their last year’s average and can buckle up. That will surely help them to boost their energies and make their position better this season.
Their coach said they have a lot of expectations on Devin. And the rest of the team too will play to become the best team by giving their full effort in the matches.
Second year player Courtney Lee too is expected to come up with a good performance this year as he has the potential and also he was in good condition last season and post season both.
Chris Douglas, Keyon Dooling, Terrence Williams and refer Alston is also there and with this line up the team should come with good performance.
In some matches the Nets can also opt for smaller line up with where Brook Lopez may lead the guards.
The team has a lot of expectation from Lopez and the supporters need to wait to see how he performs this season.
Yi Jianlian has joined the forward but the team’s forwards still need to work a lot to maintain a good balance there.
Coach Frank is determined to see his club in the play off’s. Though there are better teams but the players will surely try to be there.
He even said that, people must not judge them by the last season only. They have many surprises to offer and they will surely fight for the play off’s this year.
